BanditKin is end-to-end encrypted and requires no account — there is no email, username, or password tied to you. Your data lives only as ciphertext on our relay (which we cannot read) and on your circle's paired devices. You can delete it at any time.
Email privacy@banditkin.com with enough detail to identify the device or circle, and we will delete the associated data from the relay.
Your location and location history, text and voice messages, places, and the device's metadata (battery/online status, device identifiers) held on the relay.
Location history is retained only for the app's history window and then automatically discarded. After a device is removed, its stored ciphertext is deleted from the relay. If your circle self-hosts the relay, all data lives on hardware the operator controls and is deleted there.
Questions: privacy@banditkin.com
The Flock cameras and U-turn crossovers you report are shared as anonymous public road-feature data, tagged with a random per-install ID that isn't linked to your identity, device, or circle. Because nothing about you is attached, they aren't part of your personal data — they remain on the public map after you delete, like any other contributor's reports.
